Our home is a 4 bedroom house in Malvern, Victoria which is about 10 km from the city of Melbourne. We have excellent access to train and tram public transport. The house is on a single level which has been built to suit wheelchair living. I have a king single hospital bed with full air mattress with an overhead hoist. We have an accessible ensuite with a tilt in space commode. We also have portable hoist. The house is controlled from my iPad via wifi ie lights, av system, doors, front and side gate and air conditioners. Other people can control these things manually or by wall console.
We have a lovely decking and garden that is accessed by ramp from the back decking. There is a large living area suitable for family living. There are an additional two double bedrooms and a single bedroom and bathroom. In addition I also have a fully converted Kia Carnival with wheelchair access to the front passenger space, we would be happy to exchange cars as well.
